About me

I was brought up in Hong Kong. After living in the east for 20 years I dreamt about experiencing life and culture in the west. After completing high school, with only basic English skills and the determination to succeed I left the shores of Hong Kong for Australia to pursue a University education.

Once arriving in Australia I was presented with some incredible opportunities. I worked with international organisations like the World Bank to provide advice and recommendations on design, content and interactive features of the Water and Sanitation Project website.

I was even offered an internship position in an Australian national radio station as well as a community newspaper.

Living and studying in Australia I met a lot of interesting people from around the world while I was at university. I have learnt to communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds.

During my studies I developed my passion for creative design. The process of transferring information to visual language gives me a great deal of satisfaction as it allows me to express my creative ideas in various channels and methods.

I have continuously gained and improved my multimedia design skills in professional environment as well as learning independently.

My native language is Chinese, though having spent 7 years in Australia has made me fluent in English. Learning new languages is a passion of mine (I've also tried Spanish) and some of my other interests include the flying trapeze and fishing.
